The Following are the Procedures included in the Instructions
- 1. Steam clean the axle assembly
- 2. Remove yokes or flanges from old carrier
- 3. Remove seals and bearing from bearing cage of output shaft
- 4. Remove wheel hubs and bearings
- 5. Clean and dry parts including inside of axle housing
- 6. Inspect wheel and output shaft bearings, axle shafts, wheel hubs, yokes and flanges
- 7. Repair or replace damaged parts
- 8. Repair axle by welding if required
- 9. Check the gear ratio of the carrier
- 10. Install the differential carrier into the axle housing
- 11. Install yokes or flanges
- 12. Lubricate the axle assembly
- 13. Road test the vehicle unloaded for 5 miles at 25 mph or under
- 14. Read checklist (Tear-off sheet on font cover) before the vehicle is released to the operator
